To open a bank account with Coutts, you need to have assets of at least £1 million, or plan to borrow or invest at least £1 million with Coutts12. This could be through a mortgage or investment product. You also need to be a UK resident or UK expat, and be over the age of 18 years old ( I guess in age and maturity too). Coutts is one of Britain’s oldest and most famous private banks

Later, the young person alluded online to having contact with a BBC presenter, and implied they would name him at some point.
The presenter reacted by sending a number of threatening messages.
BBC News has been able to verify that the messages were sent from a phone number belonging to the presenter.
