The bible is our ancient ancestors’ attempt to explain the cosmos but you having the benefit of 3,000+ years worth of technology and developments are in a better position to explain things than they were.
So rather than forever laughing at your ancient ancestors who had next to nothing to assist them, why don’t you use your 3,000+ year advantage to present your credible case of the events?
At least the ancients had a theory… you still ain’t got one!
It is not the cosmos they were explaining it was the world. They did not understand why we had earthquake or volcanos etc. So they created gods to explain what they could not explain. ANd the fire balls as they decsribed them coming from nowhere.
Far from laughing that them, I am mocking the fools who still hang on to myths the ancient people created to explain what twey could not explain.
They looked at the sky and the stars and the sun were revolving round the earth so it was perfectly natural for them to assume that indeed god did ceate the earth and everything revolved around it. Now we know a little more than what they knew. We now have images of stars and galaxies being formed. We understand relative motion and the fact that far from earth being stationary, even our Sun is not and is moving in an ever expanding Universe.
It is the fools who are hanging onto ideas created thousands of years ago and applying it to today when what is written in our science books is out of date before it is printed.
