Upon arrival, we were told by the greeter that since they were going to have live music a little later on, we would need to pay a cover charge of about $8 USD each. I said “no” to the greeter. We are here for dinner and not for the music. You can either try to get additional $16 dollars or for sure lose much more for dinner and drinks for two people, because we are about to start walking. She said, please wait one moment!
When the music did come on later on, it was quite rubbish actually.
Years ago the “House of Blues” on Sunset Boulevard In Los Angeles was a great place for dinner and live music, where the center bar would open into two halves in the evening exposing the stage behind with great music. Unfortunately, it has since closed for good few years ago.
If it was me, I would have just shrugged my shoulders and moved on to the next one.
My favourite Greek Restaurant that I frequent just changed their menus. They went fusion.
When we got our meals, I said to the owner from Crete that this isn't Greek Food. Where in Greece would they serve this?
Pricey too, but he decided to go for the Australian market.
Oh well, it's time to move on to the next one.
Was the Hard Rock cafe a thing for you? Never found it impressive myself.
