The massacre was largely omitted from local, state and national histories.

Only 50 years ago, Turkey seized billions of dollars worth of property from the Greek Cypriots and ethnically cleansed them from part of their country. about 200,000 people were left homeless.

Many Turks and Turkish Cypriot deny their terror and justify their theft because another country tried to topple a priest who promoted democracy in Cyprus.

In 2015, the Turks destroyed 10,000 Kurdish homes in cizre, and killed about 800 people.

The estimated damage was about $500 million.

Turks omit all their countries massacres and ethnic cleansing from its national histories.

They steal other peoples cultural heritage and historical artifacts and try and pass it off as their own to tourists.

thirty-first anniversary, today...

https://www.vice.com/en/article/5db9eq/ ... ign=210604

...who remembers; those forbidden for one, and the rest of us because we do not forget either: even silenced resistance.

...who remembers Juneteenth, speaking of Tulsa? The memory has no celebration, despite being a moment collectively that changed all our lives. Indeed, there is a "them", and there is an "us"; simply put it is not hard to understand. (And yet,...)

And by the way at the same time You boys stole 60,000 peoples' homes and 450,000 donum of land too belonging to the TCs.

But of course that does not count right.

Before you started talking stupid, no they did not just abandoned their properties they were rounded up in concentration camps and transfered over.

On the other hand most of the GCs actaully abondened their properties before the Turkish Armu arrived especially the varoshites. but thats does not matter right?

Blah blah blah, continues to criticize others.

Then justifies Turkish atrocities, theft's and ethnic cleansing since the 15th century.

that was 2000 years ago Bordo. Yes, sure, there were atrocities committed. Who is denying that? He was probably savage. But that was 2000 years ago you stupid man.

As we are talking today though, Turkey is bombing Kurdish refugee camps in Iraq and some mafia boss is posting videos explaining how Erdogans relatives were transferring weapons to ISIS Jihadists in Syria.

How many refugees and deaths did that amount to over the last decade again?

Why dont you post about that instead of what happened in America 100 years ago to blacks and what the Israelis are doing in Palestine?

And this.

I just learned about it through a tv show!!!
I just found out that the American marines invaded Hawaii and deposed the ruler in one night. They literally destroyed a culture overnight. American history is whitewashed. If it was up to white men who write the history books, they’d erase every bad thing they did to other cultures.
