Eurovision

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanay I must declare I was rivetted to the TV last night watching the show and I blinked and missed the result.

Did we do the same as usual regarding the englezzos and where did the Balkan girl come in the end.

I gather things can't get worse for my adopted country, not only did we come last but we scored no points.

While we are at it, what the hell is Australia doing competing in the Eurovision when not even their beef is allowed into the Eurozone.

that's news to me.

Did Australia participate? Didn't even watch it. Wouldn't watch it in any case.

Oh and yeh sure thing sunshine. Our meat is exported all over Europe. Cypriot supermarket shelfs were full of Aussie meats.

I tuned in about 10 minutes from the end by mistake. I was hoping to catch the end of Match of the Day, but Euro was on instead. After Italy won, I though, OK, let’s hear the winning song. What a load of rubbish it was. So, search for talent continues since Celine Dion and ABBA. :D

I bet this would have won it for UK. Especially if Tori Amos was loosely clad whilst singing.

And while we are at it, this one is for Milti. Pork kosher kibab on the way with extra chili sauce hold the mayo.

As I’ve said, no talent since Celine Dion and ABBA. All others were mediocre, including Cliff Richards, Lulu and Brotherhood of Man. I occasionally hear a song on the radio here in Switzerland from Cliff Richards, but they were mainly domestic “stars” and not international Superstars like Celine and ABBA.

Interestingly this album was also recorded in the Abba Studio in 1979. I wonder if it made the grade.
I don't think ABBA studio knew what hit it.
