I am inclined to agree with you, but we have been wating for you guys to help us rid the fascist swine from cyprus from the moment they sat at a round table 24th of May 1960 even before the actual MPs and begun to plan on hot to destroy RoC and join it with Greece by writing that dreaded and notorious Akritas plan. But really that does not belong to this thread, that is handled elsewhere.

I found this picture with a reference to football and facists and Disy on one side and Akel on the other mixed up in fottball.

Now is this not a perfect picture of what exactly is wrong with Cyprus. And while I am at it, Mr Tatar would like to thank your boys for causing al lthat trouble at the border a week before the election. He says without your help Erdogan alone would not have been able to help him win. So you boys and Erdogan are singing from the same page really. Why you would want to rid of him is not easy tounderstand.

With all due respect. The only so called fascists in Cyprus are probably just the ELAM voters. And I seriously doubt most of them even understand what fascism is. It’s a tiny party with no influence or power at all. Just some kids who think they are smart.

They have a right however to organize themselves politically.

Secondly, the are no match for the Grey Wolves either. They are truly hardcore.

It doesn’t stop however, people like you attributing the term fascist Willy Nilly. A bit like the term racist being bandied around in similar fashion. To the point where both these words have now lost their meaning.

Apoel is either the most well supported or second most well supported Football team in Cyprus. It’s supporter base normally vote for DISY (Anastasiades) or DIKO (Papadopoulos Jr). The irony is DISY and DIKO are also very strange bedfellows. They don’t politically get along even though they are both right wing. DISY don’t like Makarios but DIKO do and so on. But those 2 parties generally support teams like Apoel, Anorthosis, Apollon etc. Oh and Olympiakos.

Both those parties are mainstream. There is nothing at all fascist about them or anti TC even in the slightest. Neither will endorse or support any violence.

Omonoia is the complete antithesis to Apoel, Anorthosis and Apollon. They support AKEL or maybe even EDEK. But it’s mainly AKEL I think.

AKEL is communist. Now communism is probably closer to fascism these days than any of the right wing. But AKEL supporters are not fascist. I doubt most of them even understand what communism is. They probably think it’s just some Labour movement. But communism in its true form goes far beyond unionism.

But overall, I think you will be hard pressed finding fascists anywhere. Put it this way, you will have to dig deep and probably find some skin heads with swastika tattoos just like you find them in other countries too. But how many? Probably be able to count them with your fingers and toes.

The most dangerous people you will find in Cyprus today are a few Xerokefaloi who just don’t take Covid seriously. Hence the big Covid problem in Cyprus. But it’s not all their fault either. Just a factor. The government's open borders is probably the biggest factor.

I’ve never really met a fascist in RoC. 99% of people are just chilled out. Occasionally might be the odd parking lot brawl between some Apoel and Omonoia hooligans. Generally young people who are dumb and full of cum.

Crime is very low as well. There isn’t a great deal of it. It’s a very laid back society.

There is far far less crime in Cyprus compared to Australia. I mean if you were to compare, crime in Cyprus is minuscule. People generally do the right thing. Less regimented of course but there is less robbery, assaults and murders. And what does exist is heavily influenced by foreigners like the Russians with organised crime and money laundering.

Fact is, Cypriots are little pussy cats.
