It seems its the Republicans who want to control US Borders and prevent illegal entries. Anyone who wants to enter the US may only do so through the proper legal avenues which they have set up. Like I did when I applied for permanent residency and work visas. I went through the proper channels and fulfilled every single step as per their procedures and went through all the hoops. It helped that I was backed by a major US Corporate and sponsored by them.

Took me about 6 weeks all up. Wasn't as tedious as one might think but I got my papers.
