They represent a small number of personality traits/properties and the liquid represents the level that this particular person possesses in each.
Now instead of just a few, imagine dozens of these containers each representing a unique personality trait or property that forms each person’s unique complex personality.
That’s how I imagine personality is formed in humans... I believe every person has varying quantities of liquid in the same set (dozens) of beakers.
So a criminal like the above, would have high levels of liquid in all the wrong beakers and low levels in all the right ones!
As you can imagine, countless personalities can be accommodated (formed) under such a complex system.
The trick for the future is to identify these beakers and to adjust their liquid levels so as to form the most pleasant humans!
