Greece needs a doomsday plan much like Israel does.

Perhaps even collaborate with the Israelis and secretly attain a few nuclear warheads. Purely as a deterrence.

I think the US are going to relocate their Nukes from Incirlik to Souda Bay.

Maybe Greece can strike the sort of deal where they can use them if they are ever needed.

Kind of like a pay to use type of agreement.

I think the idea is bad on so many levels and for so many reasons but all that aside I still struggle with 'why secretly' ? Am I missing something ?

It is possible at some point Pakistan will help Turkey to build it’s nuclear weapons program secretly to add another Muslim country into the Nuclear weapons club.

On the other hand, Pakistan might just prefer to be the ONLY Muslim nation to have the nuclear weapons to be the “top dog” among Muslim nations to have the nuclear technology.
