I say that because we have all been guilty of some touchy advances in the past. Unless you are a monk.
Exactly. She did not say STOP, so he flirted. Isn’t that how the world works for the men to get laid?
Yes that’s how it works. And Trump always stopped. Hardly dealing with a rapist here.
I just bet though in Trump’s case at least, he got more approvals than rejections because of his money and power. So of course, that makes guys like him more confident and brazen because he wouldn’t be use to a lot of turn downs.
Flirting and grabbing pussies at will are two different things, no?
Depends on the context.
And Biden wasn’t flirting either. He was grabbing, and even tried to use his position of power to threaten a vulnerable worker who is suppose to be under his care and is also responsible for providing her with a safe work environment without bullying, intimidation, and threats.
That’s pretty serious. No?
If true, it would be serious in today’s world but not in the 80’s and 90’s world. Times have changed and for the better for women.
That’s just like saying that a priest who raped boys in the 70s and 80s is better than if it’s done today!
Now you are being ridiculous, comparing rape with flirtation at the work place.
It wasn’t flirtation.
According to the victim, Biden made a clear pass at her, which she politely declined. It is alleged that Biden then used his position to threaten his staffer. Saying things like ‘I will destroy you. You are nothing to me”
This is a very clear case, if true, of harassment, bullying, threats and intimidation, which also led to the lady becoming despondent and abandoning her career in the political sphere.
Now that is serious. More serious than making a pass or grabbing someone. If a guy attempts to grab and aborts after the recipient declines and nothing else happens, well it isn’t so bad.
I mean seriously. How many times does that occur at a night club etc?
I am just curious. Did the woman in question make these allegations when Biden was running for President the previous two times, when he was a senator for many years and also when he was Vice President for 8 years, or is it only now?
If you watch the 60 minutes video, she explains how she was intimidated and scared and that she deemed it fruitless and dangerous. She may be right.
This isn’t uncommon among female victims. Often, they suffer in silence.
Now, whether it’s true or not is another question. There is no reason why it isn’t true but there is a chance it’s all made up. It’s difficult to prove such cases when it’s one word against another.
