I did Sydney some years back and Birkibrisli was the perfect host. We shared a botte of wine in the evening, he picked us up next day for a tour of Sydney, perfect gentleman. The only downside was Dick Cheney was staying at our hotel and the security was fucking unreal. I have good friends in Sydney but the more I watch Nothing To Declare on telly the more I'm going off the Ausies. Fascist cunts
My last day in Sydney, Bir picked me up and showed me around also before my evening flight out. Great gentleman.
He also showed me around the Blue Mountains region. Very impressive. The least I could do was to invite him out for a great steak dinner with a nice bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon, followed by some dessert wine. Fortunately we didn’t have far to drive to his house.
Will I go back to Australia again? Most probably despite the distance as I have friends in Adelaide too, if the Covid is ever finished.
