Well, stealing government property, classified documents no less which can have National Security implications is plenty probable cause to search and seize material from a private home with a written warrant issued by the Attorney General no less. The Federal Agents were not at Trump’s home to seize his porn collections. Trump is now a private citizen and has no business keeping classified government property at his home. Only a criminal minded individual does that which Trump fits the profile, especially after the attack he had orchestrated on the Capital building.
The only legal privilege he has exercised so far was to keep his mouth shut by taking the 5th which I have stated many times for individuals not to talk to the police, especially if one is guilty, but also if one is innocent but have been accused of a crime, and if one wants to talk, to have a legal counsel with them. So far Trump has done the right thing. The rest is with the government to prove that Trump broke the law, and if so, to face whichever punishment is given to him and his right wing brain dead nutcase supporters can cry all they want.
Many Republican presidential candidates for 2024 will welcome seeing Trump dragged through the legal system regardless what “support” they give in public to Trump, because they know that if Trump runs again in 2024, the Democrats will win again despite of all the violations of voting rights the GOP is creating mainly against the minorities in the RED states.
