Trump is not American, he is surrounded by "Americans", and he has exposed them; perhaps we may thank him in the future having done so, Americans fought (and are fighting) back.
...the biggest threat to Democracy is "Them"; you seem to think that the Media is immune to ownership, and the power this ownership has when they are (very) few.
We will see if Cheney loses in Wyoming, which way Americans are pivoting will be more clear. Her work at the moment is Historic; indeed, in the end, the American People will have to decide on its importance too.
...it's a long way to November in political terms there is much by then and now that will be done. (Cheny may be the choice of Republicans by the time of the Presidential elections, actually.)
Biden is not Bernie Sanders, which i think you like many are expecting from him. Let's not forget what Trump left as a Legacy, not much to remember as real Leadership in a time of crisis like the COVID, and let's be honest completely unprepared with what would be the result economically speaking of such disruptions; his second term as a result may have been much worse.
