I have stated before, that the best thing that has happened to the Democrats is Trump, and the proof is in the pudding for the last 4 years, and with the Senate not convicting him means keeping Trump in the political loop for the foreseeable future. The only ones being punished by the non conviction of Trump will be the Republican Party, which is why there is a very concentrated effort and evidence is being put into the Impeachment trial by the Democrats whilst knowing full well that the GOP condones Trump’s criminal actions against democracy and the constitution and will not convict him, is just laying the grounds for future demise of the GOP in running the country.
