Here is a news flash for you all.

A builder in Australia who is worth their pinch of salt makes more money than the best medical specialists. Fact.

But it’s also hard work. No doubt medical specialists work hard too but it’s not physical.

And you don’t need to finish high school.

Pretty cool huh.

This is where the Greeks and Italians came to Australia and started to own the joint. Many went into the building game and stated trades. Most were virtually illiterate. Earning more money than Australia’s highest paid cancer surgeon.

So it isn’t about going to uni and getting degrees.

There are greek and Italian families who will never allow their kids to work for a wage. Like never! You go into the family businesses and be your own person answering only to yourself and the family. That’s it.

Today, we have Greek families who own professional football teams in the Greek Superleague. Just for the hell of it and just because they can.

Go figure hey!!

Came to Australia with nothing.

You drive down the streets and we own the commercial properties all the corporates rent from us. Including major Banks who lend us money to buy the branch they in turn lease from us. We have banks paying off our mortgages they have on us.

That’s how it works.

Whenever you see a sky scraper being built you see massive cranes with the name Samaras on them. The builders Bianco or some other Italian business, concreted and so on. Both Samaras and Bianco own football teams. That’s how wealthy these guys are. Samaras in Greece, Bianco owns an A League team.

Not one Anglo name in sight.

All these people came to Australia as illiterate bums. No university degrees.

My Koumbaro drives a Ferrari on weekends.

It’s kind of like our “up yours”. In the old days, we were made fun of and there was racism.

We would ask them for jobs, now they ask us and we are more racist than they are because we employ Southern Europeans mostly.

Funny how the tables turn.

One example of what we do.

A Palestinian refugee family migrated to Australia. They opened a service station. Now they own a chain. They are worth a couple of hundred million. Koumbaro takes his Ferrari down there with other Ferrari club members and Shahin was there too.

Redheads as well as they are building a Grand Prix track at Tailem Bend and want to bring the Grand Prix back to Adelaide and hold the Australian Supercars and also bring Daytona or Indi from America.

A geeek family in Darwin (Paspalley) started off as a deep sea pearl diver. Now he owns the biggest Pearl company in the world with boutique stores in Dubai, London and New York’s 5th Avenue.

Markets family who adored my old man and use to visit him as well, is worth a Billion Dollars and owns Panahaiki.

Bouris, is a home lender. Use to work as the Financial Officer for Kerry Packer. He now does the Trump thing on TV we these contestants compete to be his apprentice. Yes the same franchise Trump is famous for. You know the one. “Your fired”

Samaras owns virtually every single crane in the state. And we all feed off of each other and support each other.

There are so many people. We have poor Greeks and Cypriots too but not that many. All the people I know are financially secure but through a lot of sacrifice and hard work and against the odds as well.

We have a deep sense of responsibility Milti to our children to make sure they are set up well.

We don’t need to answer to anybody. The women can stay home and raise children. They don’t need to work. They can if they want. It isn’t a sexist thing. It’s just what we perceive to be in the best interest of our kids. Our kids when they get older likewise don’t need to rely on any bastard. That’s the way we like it.

Paphiti please, way too much information which does not belong in this thread.

Even Trump is complaining that you are ruining his tread and also making him look like a “charity case”. :D

I think there should be another thread opened for this kind of “millionaires talk”, like “The CF Fortune 100”, or better yet, “The CF Fortune 1”. :D

You are making the rest of us drool in envy! :D

Do take all that he writes with a pinch or two of salt.
In the meantime,
GOP plaintiffs asked the court at a hearing Friday to order the state to inspect duplicated and adjudicated ballots, claiming without evidence that there could be enough uncounted votes for Trump to change the election results.

Arizona Superior Court Judge Randall Warner denied Ward’s petition and shot down the Republican argument suggesting ballots were cast fraudulently or improperly, finding that their evidence “did not prove illegal votes, much less enough to affect the outcome of the election.”

This is for brain-dead Trump supporters. :D

Associated Press
Dangerously viral: How Trump, supporters spread false claims

AMANDA SEITZ and DAVID KLEPPER
Fri, December 4, 2020, 6:16 AM GMT+1

The cellphone video shot in the dark by a woman in a parked car appeared to show something ominous: a man closing the doors of a white van and then rolling a wagon with a large box into a Detroit election center.

Within hours, the 90-second clip was being shared on news sites and conservative YouTube accounts, offered as apparent proof that illegal votes were being smuggled in after polls closed. Prominent Republicans, including Eric Trump, one of the president's sons, amplified the falsehoods on social media. Within a day, views of the video shot up past a million.

That single video serves as a powerful emblem of the trafficking in false information that has plagued the presidential election won by Joe Biden. In other videos, photos and social media posts, supporters of President Donald Trump, and most notably the incumbent himself, have raised doubts about the outcome based on problems that did not occur.

Though the clip was quickly discredited by news organizations and public officials — the man depicted was a photojournalist hauling camera equipment, not illegal votes — to many viewers it had its intended effect.

Eric Hainline, a UPS driver from Dayton, Ohio, watched the video and many like it, and said the images reinforced his suspicions that the election was stolen from Trump.

It has just been announced that he, Paphitis, our multi millionaire General, was rejected by the Trump administration as a pilot of Air force One as they found out that the closest he has been to the ....Cock pit is to serve the captain coffee.
Paphitis having just secured a 3.5 million loan, has requested a further loan of 10 million dollars which he intends to offer the entire sum to Donald, his heroe, in order to enable Donald to continue with his legal battles against the election results.
