Trumpist Lawyers Tell Georgia Republicans: Don’t Vote in the Senate Runoff!

Pro-Trump attorney Lin Wood urged Georgia Republicans at a rally on Wednesday to sit out the state’s upcoming Senate runoff elections, arguing that the two Republicans in the running first needed to back demands for a special legislative session to investigate Donald Trump’s defeat in the state.

"They have not earned your vote,” Wood said of Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue. “Don't you give it to them. Why would you go back and vote in another rigged election for god's sake! Fix it! You gotta fix it!"

Just hours ago…

What makes a dictator is when a leader refuses to accept that their popularity is no longer in the majority by blaming the opposition of fudging the numbers.

Exactly as what’s been repeatedly happening in Turkey with Erdo…

Call for martial law...

...just watching this video; notice the cuts, this is rehearsed, not "live" as in a speech.

...no real crime; speculation: frankly hard to believe sadly watching America's decline.

Trump a Hero?

...will the Supreme Court hear his claim? And does that matter, what with Trump's insistence of his own virtue?

...50 more days, is it?

Trump admired dictators before he became president, and then he loved them during his presidency, and after losing the election, he has become a dictator. Trump supporters are ok with fascism, as long as the government does not help the needy, then it is called that dirty word, socialism. However, Republicans are ok with socialism when billions of tax payers money are spent on the military, police and bailing out big corporations, but just not those who need help when it comes to healthcare. In fact, Trump is worse than other dictators since the others do provide healthcare to their people.

Dictator? :?

Trump’ll be history in 6 weeks or so. His chapter in history closed. The tyranny of democracy. :D

Other - real - dictators, some attracting little comment, occasional admiration and even the odd bit of indignant defending in here, will go on ruling with iron fists until they either quit or die. In most cases with significant body counts to their credit. “ Strong national leadership”. A good thing it seems, in their cases. :(

Perspective/hypocrisy? :?

So you don’t see Trumps actions since the election as being dictatorial? Really?

Just as democracy comes in many forms, so does dictatorships, no?

No. It’s posturing (theatrics? ). All in my first sentence and you’ll not get anything approaching a defence of Trump from me. Could be a sad loss, from the forum posting POV of course. Although, Biden’s term looks to be full of potential. I suspect, but obviously hope not, that it might be a potential for more in the way of global conflict.

Yes, everyone also thought Hitler was posturing, making theatrics, just joking, come on, where is your sense of humour moments claimed by his fascist supporters as his actions were moving from a democratically elected chancellor to a dictatorship.

Trump and his surrogates are doing the same thing by defying the democratic system, firing officials for not willing to go along in trying to steal the election or threatening to kill those who would stand in their way either directly or by using his brain-dead supporters as attack dogs.

These are some of Trump’s “Hitler Youth Nazi” cunts, but hey, maybe it is just an audition for a Disney play and I just assumed the worse!

I invoke Godwin’s law! :D

Please note the last sentence of the top section.

Oops, almost forgot:    More? :)

Well, I do not think Godwin’s law (he is entitled to his opinion) applies here or at any other time, because we are not even talking about Hitler relating to the plight of the Jews which he had murdered, allowed by his enablers and appeasers, but instead we are talking about the comparison between Trump and Hitler going from being democratically elected to becoming a dictator.
