Maradona dies aged 60...

Maradona died shortly before midday at a rented home in the San Andrés gated community in the suburb of Benavidez, north of Buenos Aires, according to press reports in Argentina. He is said to have died from a heart attack, while recovering at his home from a brain operation on 3 November. Although the operation had been successful, Maradona was reported to be suffering from abstinence from his alcohol habit.

There has been few athletes who has died at relatively young age. One doesn’t expect it, but then again, the more money and fame some of these athletes have, more they have abused their bodies with steroids, drugs and alcohol.

We’re losing 1-0 at half time while it’s pouring with rain and with a tiny woman for a referee! :?

I think this is the first time I’ve seen a female ref... it’s weird and I find her a bit too forgiving with fouls. I guess the linesmen must be lines-women too but I didn’t get a close enough look.

We lost 2-1 although I expected far worse but the constant downpour neutralized the Spanish superiority. The bet I suggested was for a laugh… in real life it would be a small stake on X.

Well it's a Spanish Team at the end of the day. best league in the world.

Would have been amazing if Omonoia could beat them though. They were playing away so it's a really tough gig for Omonoia no matter what Spanish team they play.

I must say I expected the little female to call it off but she took the entire downpour like a champ!

Omonia Nicosia vs PAOK FC

Probably a draw or a small win either way.

This match would’ve normally meant packed cafes and pubs all over Cyprus, but unfortunately the new curfew hour means that such businesses will miss out big time. Entrepreneurs are probably fuming!
