Twenty and four years, that long, seems like yesterday to me.

Indeed we do remember the shooting of Solomos and his cousin at the border. But how many people remember 9th of September when a TC soldier was killed and another critically injured at the border.

1996 was also the year Kutlu Adali was murdered for preparing to release the name of high ranking officials who robbed St Barnabas Monastery.

May they all rest in peace as well as all the other GCs and TCs who were murdered since 1955.

May all those who have been killed in the whole of the Cyprus Problem RIP. But I cannot help asking, what did they achieve by doing what they did other than entrenching hatred in the hearts of the fascists on both sides.

Eight years later, we had a chance for peace and GCs voted no. We than move onto 2017 when we had a chance and Anastasiades could not run away fast enough.

We still wait for a move from the south that says peace.

How long must we wait?

...'we' will wait long enough, until Cypriots are silent no more.
