Following contacts and discussions today by Greece's foreign minister and US ambassador to Greece.
USS Hershal Woody Williams will be calling in to Greece in the coming days,
It is currently in Naples, Italy, for a routine logistics stop.

It has arrived and will be in Crete to monitor the situation in the eastern med.
It joins other forces from the EU and apparently, a Russian ship has arrived in the area as well.
It might kick off soon. Lets hope this can all be resolved at the table. Last thing we need is a war, especially with this damn Covid-19. If it really turns into an all out war will you start a Crowd Funding Campaign to collect petrol and diesel money for your killing machines?
Sorry but those days are over.
Nothing can be achieved with negotiations when international law is on our side. Greece and Cyprus would be losers.
UNCLOS isn’t up for negotiation. There are no special cases here.
Negotiations are now done as per gunboat diplomacy from behind an OTO Melara. That is what Erdogan creates, not Greece or Cyprus or Israel or Egypt.
The recalcitrant is clearly Turkey.
Now all eyes are on Greece. It has the power and capability to really fuck Erdogan like a little bitch boy that he is and completely destroy all his credibility. Turkey has everything to lose here.
For the first time in a long time, Greece has a Government that isn’t scared to make the tough decisions. The resolve of the Greek people is there. They are prepared and they see war as inevitable and the only solution now.
Turkey has already lost a Frigate. The Hellenic Navy is able to send the entire Turkish Navy to the bottom with its natural geographical defences favouring the Hellenic Navy. Greece’s Airforce is respected globally and can maintain air superiority. A US Navy Pilot once said. The Greek Pilots are pros and perfectly by the text book and well drilled. He called Turkish pilots an embarrassment.
