It wouldn't surprise me if it is propaganda Paphitis,

Turkey doesn't have any legitimacy and I dont believe anything Turkey says.

“Turkey is the only country that opens war fronts everywhere, the only country that threatens its neighbors with war if they choose to exercise their legal rights, which blatantly violates the U.N. Charter,” Dendias said.

Now, and again, Turkey is threatening to open the flood gates of illegal migrants if the EU doesn't agree with their "blue homeland" doctrine and implements sanctions.

It seems like Europe has to deal with a (4ft) Hitler, again.

I agree with you 100% Max on all of the above.

I posted the above video because Erdogan specifically my mentioned that Turkish pilots had a convincing win over the HAF in what he said was “true Top Gun style”

The Turkish victory wasn’t convincing at all. The Greek Viper was just cruising around. He didn’t even deploy countermeasures. Nor did he punch off the external tanks to become more manoeuvrable.

I have another one which is a Greek M2000-5 Vs a Turkish F-16. It’s only 4 months old.

The Greek kill was a lot more convincing and the Greek A2A were uncaged. But, the Turkish Viper didn’t punch off either but the lock and track was firm and a certain Greek kill. According to the same American guy in the previous video, he believed the Greek footage was real. And he said that the M2000 made the viper look bad.

Anyway, what’s funnier is the HAF launched 6 vipers the very next day to go to Cyprus after the initial failed attempt. They managed to evade all Turkish radars, including E-7T Wedgetails. The Turks only picked up the Greek vipers only a short distance from Cyprus when it was too late. Now that’s embarrassing for Erdowan since he was talking real big only 24 hours before.

I'm not convinced that the Turks are going to follow through with anything.

Endorgan is just a barking dog, sailing here, there and everywhere trying to sniff some gas. He cant even string a coherent or consistent argument together about Turkey's rights.

What is more likely, is that the EU will impose sanctions towards the end of September. The Turkish economy will eventually crumble and Endorgan will try to push migrants across the border in to Greece again.

Greece shouldn’t worry if things come to the worst and all out warfare.

Turkey has a shortage of pilots in the TAFs

So much so, that some of the TAF’s pilots are not Turkish, but Pakistani!

So my message to the Greek Pilots. Go on Guard and tell the Pakistanis that they will get slaughtered in the upcoming Test Series with Australia. Guaranteed to loss them off.

The Turkish Pilots were mostly arrested and purged after the Coup. They were major instigators in the last coup.

I swear, I would have so much fun on Guard. Start talking about their wives and mothers and all sorts...

Greece should now delineate its EEZ with all countries including Cyprus.

Then increase its territorial seas from 6 to 12 miles where possible, in the Aegean.

Casus Belli for Turkey. If there is to be war, then let Turkey strike first.

...According to one of the inspectors, the ammonium nitrate stored at the warehouse in Beirut was identical to the substance seized by Greece from a Turkish shipment en route to Misurata Port in Libya on June 10, 2020, where it was intended, presumably, to end up in the hands of Government of National Accord (GNA)-affiliated militias and Turkey-backed mercenaries. If accurate, this lends credence to the increasing rumors of Iran’s cooperation with Turkey on a variety of matters, including not only Turkey’s “defense line”in Libya but also, as evidence increasingly shows, its overall geopolitical strategy. It has yet to be determined whether Turkey’s acquisition is recent or this level of defense cooperation dates back to 2013, when Iran and Turkey were working together on sanctions-busting schemes...

...With that said, the reality behind the lofty rhetoric is quite pragmatic. Erdoğan’s genuine intention, far from appeasing nationalist or Islamist sentiments, is to achieve the practical domination of the Mediterranean and the Middle East by way of maritime and naval strategy and gain access or take outright control of the most important strategic trade routes and passages

...and much more.

Egypt, let's not forget has a vital interest, just like Greece, in the Eastern Med., (so too anyone else using the Suez Canal); Turkey, is the existential threat.

Greece has to say this even if it is hollow. It’s not a promise. But just by saying it, could be the deterrent! Do you prefer them to say they won’t be able to help Cyprus even if it might be true?

Greece will not obligate itself or put itself in a position which compromises herself. No country will compromise themselves for Cyprus.

Now, if Greece can, it probably will help. But if Greece is overwhelmed, then it won’t. Cyprus must assume it will receive no help at all from Greece, France, Israel, or Egypt.

It’s what a responsible government needs to do. Expect and presume the worst, always, and plan for it and prepare for the worst scenario possible. Has the RoC prepared itself for the worst? That’s the million dollar question.

You got to walk with what you got.

The Kurdish insurgency could lead to the collapse of Turkey by gaining foreign support, Michael Rubin of the American Enterprise Institute warned on Wednesday.

“Kurdish insurgents in Turkey may soon have at their disposal the type of weaponry and funding about which in the past they could only dream," Rubin said.

Any Turk who buys into Erdoğan’s bombast and regional aggression is not enabling Turkish greatness as Erdoğan’s enablers may claim, but rather its ultimate partition.”

I have been reading some articles written by some Kurdish journalists and they are giving the impression that the Kurds have given up on peace with Turkey. Their districts have been raised to the ground.

They are being severely oppressed and subjected to conditions of poverty in the east of the country.
