...Turkey, Iran, Pakistan; so far, a (Muslim) alliance: think geography, then think Egypt and Libya, think bigger in Africa (with India in mind because they feel in affect the same threat stuck in the middle so to speak).

...talking History of Turkey, if you take the time to listen, you will understand what this man is saying, it just takes patience, and imagine how far open warfare may escalate when there is no going back.

...indeed, think Balkans, Azerbaijan, and Armenia; there are scores "Turks" want to settle, there, too.

...very interesting.

As such a good review of Turkish Contemporary Politics as well.

OK, the following information is from an official source whose identity will not be divulged.

It’s true that the Hellenic Navy is performing extremely well. Turkish Submarines are operating in the East Med and Aegean. Greek Submarines as well.

So far, at least 5 Turkish Submarines have been detected with Greek Anti Submarine Warfare Helicopters, Orions and Anti Sub Warfare Helicopters. Turkish Navy has not been able to detect a single Greek Sub.

Make of it what you will. So, Greeks are running rings around the Turks.

its well past time but

They are all corrupted.

All the generals and the members of the army with higher ranked positions that allegedly had "links" to Gullen or who would oppose him are behind bars.

Well the Turkish Admirals already know that they would have virtually had their entire submarine fleet wiped out if they so much as sneezed at the Greeks.

That explains Erdowan’s erratic behaviour.

No dreams this end.Just an expectation for Greece to defend itself.

It has an extremely capable, well trained and well organized Armed Service, which do their best at protecting Greece, and her interest and it appears they can give Turkey a good run for their money.

My dream is for Turkey to be a good international citizen. For Turkey to abide by international law. For Turkey to stay within its borders. Greece will do all of that. But Turkey is behaving like a rogue. So obviously I wish Turkey wasn't, and became a country of peace and stability, but alas that is not the case. And being a country for peace, and a country that respects international law, also means withdrawing from Cyprus.

Yes they are far fetched dreams at this point. So Greece has to look after herself.

Military doing a great job. The politicians have to step up now and pull their socks up judging from past form.

What I dream about is for Turkey to be a nice country like let's say New Zealand. Peaceful, nice, respected and loved by all countries. Do you think Turkey is capable of that?

It isn't capable of it, therefore, Greece is condemned to depend on its military to protect its territorial territory and I would go as far to say that Greece needs to protect its very survival. Much like Israel which has enemies that want to drive her people into the sea, I have no doubt that Turkey would do exactly that to Greece and Cyprus if they could and maybe one day they can.

  Kiks is that you? Are you with Bafidi down-under? :? :? Turkey is a beautiful country and it's people are pretty decent. You get scum like in all places but in general they're pretty decent. As long as Eddie is at the helm Turks are fucked. They can only dream about peace and respect. Turkey needs another Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.

There are no dreams on Greece's part other than the dream of peace and stability. I don't want a war with Turkey. Remember, it's Turkey doing this and bringing us to the brink, not Greece.

I don't want Greece, or Cyprus to be under threat of war.

You people have to be the most STUPID people in the world. It's actually YOU that has the dreams of conquest. First, steel the EEZ and resources of Greece and Cyprus, and to facilitate, take a few islands. Then a few more until you are on the doorsteps of Athens. That's YOUR DREAM.

My dream is for a peaceful and stable Cyprus with its territory intact from Kyrenia to Paphos.

And for a peaceful and stable Greece with its territory intact from Kastelorizo to Corfu. Nothing more, nothing less.

But you people are STUPID and want this war. If Greece must defend itself, you will get this war as well.
