It’s true that the Hellenic Navy is performing extremely well. Turkish Submarines are operating in the East Med and Aegean. Greek Submarines as well.
So far, at least 5 Turkish Submarines have been detected with Greek Anti Submarine Warfare Helicopters, Orions and Anti Sub Warfare Helicopters. Turkish Navy has not been able to detect a single Greek Sub.
Make of it what you will. So, Greeks are running rings around the Turks.
Been talking to Walter Mitty again?
You have been dreaming for the last 600 years, keep dreaming.
You honestly think the Turkish military are so ill equipped that even Greece would be a superior power? 600 years of fantasy will continue for the next 6 centuries and nothing will change dick brain. Eddie is a cunt we all know but you are not insulting him you are insulting the whole nation.
No dreams this end.Just an expectation for Greece to defend itself.
It has an extremely capable, well trained and well organized Armed Service, which do their best at protecting Greece, and her interest and it appears they can give Turkey a good run for their money.
My dream is for Turkey to be a good international citizen. For Turkey to abide by international law. For Turkey to stay within its borders. Greece will do all of that. But Turkey is behaving like a rogue. So obviously I wish Turkey wasn't, and became a country of peace and stability, but alas that is not the case. And being a country for peace, and a country that respects international law, also means withdrawing from Cyprus.
Yes they are far fetched dreams at this point. So Greece has to look after herself.
Military doing a great job. The politicians have to step up now and pull their socks up judging from past form.
What I dream about is for Turkey to be a nice country like let's say New Zealand. Peaceful, nice, respected and loved by all countries. Do you think Turkey is capable of that?
It isn't capable of it, therefore, Greece is condemned to depend on its military to protect its territorial territory and I would go as far to say that Greece needs to protect its very survival. Much like Israel which has enemies that want to drive her people into the sea, I have no doubt that Turkey would do exactly that to Greece and Cyprus if they could and maybe one day they can.
