Ankara has urged the EU "not to support Greece's maximalist demands against international law under the pretext of union [EU] solidarity"

Here are Turkey's maximalist demands in the east med that are uncompliant with international law, or specifically, the UN Law of the sea.

Her claims extend way beyond Greece's most eastern boarders and wraps around Cyprus too.

Apparently, according to Turkey, islands dont have an EEZ but Cyprus has just a little bit on this Turkish drawn map.

So much inconsistency that its just ludicrous.

Remember the painful 3 years of EU Brexit Limbo. Where Britain was trying to BREXIT and some traitors in the British Parliament and elsewhere were forcing hard BREXIT off the table. This only undermined British interests and undermined the UK against the EU and it’s bargaining power allowing the EU to do as it pleases with the UK and take away the dignity of UK as a whole and the British people.

It was only when The Conservatives won a landslide and the swamp was drained, when BORIS was able to put Hard Brexit on the table. All of a sudden, the EU started to back peddle. The very thing the EU feared the most was being thrown into their faces. UK was able to negotiate on fairer terms.

It’s the same thing here with the crisis between Greece and Turkey, if war is removed from the table, then Greece can only disadvantage itself. Turkey will do what it wants when it wants. Just like hard BREXIT, war must remain on the table in terms of Greece defending itself.

No one can expect Greece to keep backing down like it has always done and then getting shafted like the UK was for 3 years by the EU.

If any Brits feel like that is outside of their comfort zone, then may I remind you all that you chose to live in Cyprus. If it is an issue, you should have gone to New Zealand instead.

What a preposterously STUPID analogy.!!

It’s the perfect analogy.

The UK was on its knees to the EU because some traitors decided to hinder and scupper the referendum at every opportunity by denying the only good card Britain had - hard BREXIT. When the shackles were removed, the tables turned!

It’s the same with the Tensions between Greece and Turkey. Greece must maintain its nerve and resolve and appear at the very least equally determined to defend everything with any means necessary.

If Greece doesn’t, then its game over for Greece.

You are far gone mate. Stupidity is a virtue for you.

You are an A Grade Malakas.

Only an idiot could ever believe the debauchery over the last 3.5 years was good for the UK. I understand you are anti BREXIT, but the people had their say, and taking hard BREXIT off the table when the EU were not wanting cooperating, only served in handcuffing and power at the negotiations table the UK could ever have.

Same with Greece, in its countering the aggressive polemic claims of Turkey.

Erdogan has painted himself into a corner, and the only way he can save face after all the dribble he has been spouting of his and Turkey’s greatness, is for Greece to accept negotiations on the Mediterranean. Erdogan knows he cannot attack Greece and he also knows he cannot get himself out from the corner he has painted himself into. He is pushing the EU to do what EU does best, to bring Greece to the negotiations table with Turkey. All Greece has to do now is to refuse to meet with Turkey on anything, other than go to the ICJ with Turkey.

Greece can’t do such a thing either. Only table to go to is ICJ.

A German magazine reported that Erdogan issued an order for his military to shoot down a Greek f16 or sink a Greek naval unit.. his military so far has not followed through.. Erdogan will be hiding in a hole somewhere, soon, with a box of Hershey bars, a la Sadam Hussein.

How can the military not follow through?

They should get on with it. Why wait?

I dont think they are as stupid as Endorgan is. If they wait or dont do it, they delay or dont unleash hell.

They are the ones in the line of fire, not Endorgan who can go downstairs to his bunker.

The Turks should have slapped him with their shoe's and locked him up in a long time ago.

Well, if they don’t have confidence in him, then perhaps it’s time for a Coup?

Greece doesn’t need to attack first as they have the law on their side, but they can harass the Turkish survey and drill ships in their EEZ and act in self defense if need be. Turkey will not go to the ICJ.

its well past time but

They are all corrupted.

All the generals and the members of the army with higher ranked positions that allegedly had "links" to Gullen or who would oppose him are behind bars.
