Kebabbies on Avenue Road in Welling do the best Chicken Kebab and Humus. Just thought you'd like to know.

Hi Mikros
Anywhere on the island will do, I live in Paphos but try to travel around as much as my free time allows. Oh and any food - the only thing I wont eat is internal organs and sweetcorn so Im not too fussy.

Thanks
:D

Oooooooooook, here we go...
1. Gypsies Western Saloon in Limassol, perfect Tex dips, and buriotos etc, prepared the traditional Tex way.
2. Plato's Pub in the old town in Nicosia... Amazing place, lots of beer names, and excellent food, like marinated chicken kebab, beef kebab, belly buster cheeseburger etc.
3. Draught Pub in Limassol, near the old port nice food but awful draught beer, get bottled/canned beer
4. Rayan's in Akrotiri close to the Sovereign Bases' entrance, very good service, my favourite is their BBR ribs...
5. Il Gusto Italian, in the Akrotiri village

If you need in the suburbans let me know.... :)

bacardi, it sounds like you'd travel the island for a decent kebab. That's commitment for you.

Very true Vex, we all need an interest in life - mine just happens to be food.

Think I'll try Gypsies first as it sounds rather nice and may help wean me off kebabs. :D

But Bacardi, the owner has gone to Texas for his yearly vacation, and he will be back probably next month. I'll keep you posted :) As for kebab, in Limassol, you can try Othellos, in Mishaouli& Kavazoglou street, Despo and son of Makarios Avenue, south of Nicou Pattichi Street, or Hampis which is first or second turn to the right when you are in Anexartisias street coming from Pendadromos.... :) Sorry, but I never quite liked Pafos, hence I don't know much about places there... Usually I try to try new places in Limassol, Nicosia, close to Ayia Napa Area (but not IN Ayia Napa), and up the mountains that I usually spend some time there to relax.

Thanks for all the tips Mikros - dont know if I will try them all but no harm in trying :D My island favourite is still the one by Fatmans bakery in Limassol but I will see if any of your suggestions top them.

As for Pafos, its an acquired taste I guess. Lots of old people but we all get old sometime so one day I'll fit in..
