The EU summit is tomorrow, lasting two days.

Many pundits are predicting that the EU will impose sanctions on Turkey.

Then in January, the EU's new human rights bill comes in to effect. It will target any person worldwide, that abuses human rights. which will include travel bans and asset freezes.

Endorgan and his criminal cabal of "ministers" are probably going to be on it.

...oh yes, American Sanctions are also on the way; Erdogan may not be worried about the EU's sanctions, but the two combined, one way or the other will be noticed.

In such a position of weakness, Putin may well be more demanding, on the many issues where Turkey benefits from Russia's largesse, in the spheres of influence that they cross, with non-aggression.

...let's not forget, the gas exploration which acts as its stimulus, has evolved from Treaties, Tripartite meetings, a Forum, to discussions on 'regional hegemony'; as a balance that counters the notions of "Turks" and their supremacy in these Seas.

Beside that, let's remember that the clock is ticking. I am sure in his own mind, he must face his People/"People" in two years, when Turkey's Centennial starts (in three).

...what does he want? More than anything, i think, is a return of the Caliphate, in Istanbul; and with it an end to the Treaties of Lausanne and Sevres.
