Most saw it Max for what it was.

So easy to see Erdogan’s bullshit, which is why there were and has been no support to Turkey from European countries on the so called coup, because it was so clear what has happened, which till today Erdogan has not forgiven Europe for not going along with his fake coup.

The F-16 dropping it’s bombs away from the presidential palace was one more make believe hoax on the gullible Turks.

The head of the largest Islamic organisation in the United States has condemned Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s move to convert Hagia Sophia into a mosque,

“Under the leadership of president Erdoğan, a populist sentimental wave has been rising to convert the Hagia Sophia into a mosque. This is seen as an ascendency of Islam. It is unfortunate that such an act is not giving glory to Islam which strongly forbids Muslims from such a sacrilegious act,” Greek Reporter cited Dr. Sayyid M. Syeed, the chairman of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) as saying.

A related article that I am proud to say I translated for left-wing Evrensel newspaper as part of my occasional voluntary efforts to assist the embattled opposition press in Turkey:

Hagia Sophia, Lausanne, Turkey’s future and the CHP congress

The AKP controlled judiciary has overturned a nearly centuries old court ruling to convert the iconic Christian Cathedral in to a mosque.

There was widespread international criticism.

Hagia Sophia is a UNESCO world heritage site that was a originally a church, then converted in to a mosque by the Ottomans that stole it. Then to a museum and now back to a mosque by the Turks.

UNESCO are going to review its status.

Erdogan signed a decree handing it over to the religious body in Turkey after the court ruling, that also wants to install a madrasa in it.

A "mosque" with the Christian name of Saint Sophia!

And the Turks will argue it was never Greek.

What a magnificent move. Timing is perfect too.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching how the Russian Orthodox Church screwed you in the process

What did you see that I missed apart from some Islamists praying in a church?

You might think Turkey has won something here but this only shows what kind of loser she is.

But, you are probably too dumb to comprehend that.

Lots of unanswered prayers are going to be going on here.

No leaders of any Muslim countries, including Turkey’s close allies Azerbaijan and Qatar, attended the ceremony for the reopening of Istanbul’s Hagia Sophia on Friday.

Obviously, they didnt want to be seen associating with this.

Instead, Errorgan was kneeling with members of his own cabinet and about one thousand Islamist fanatics.

All with their palms open asking to receive blessing from the "infidels" God via the Saint Sophia.

All you saw was bunch of old men with no women in sight praying in a church pretending to be a Mosque in the magnificent Hagia Sophia. Turk are one of the most people with a inferiority complexes there are, and since the rulers of the Ottoman Empire over centuries did not build anything great to be passed onto the future generations to be remembered by with magnificent and majestic structures built much like the Greeks, the Romans, the Egyptians, the Chinese and many other Asian cultures, instead embarrassingly, the Turks can only convert a beautiful and majestic structure like the Hagia Sophia into a mosque by building some minarets around it. This structure is the only structure in Turkey which has any meaningful worth as any other giant mosques built in Turkey are just a very cheap copy to Hagia Sophia. Turk have never built anything that will stand the times and anything which has remote worth in Turkey, are only built by foreign ingenuity. Turks should hang their heads in shame by converting a church built centuries ago into a mosque, can only confirm Turks having a inferiority complexes as they cannot even compete to build anything as magnificent and majestic as the Hagia Sophia, even many many centuries later. I am glad I am not a Turk.

These people are not following the Quran Kiks,

Errorgan presents himself as some pious Muslim but he is the opposite, a fake. He is just a criminal full of sin.

Prophet Mohammed, (peace be upon him) commands Muslims to protect and preserve Churches, synagogues, temples etc..not convert them to mosques.

In fact, on the day of judgement, the prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) will plead on behalf of non-Muslims who were oppressed in any way by Muslims.

It sounds like Turkey is destined to go to hell to me.
