Thank you 'brother'. I agree that there were multiple cases and much evidence of each community persecuting and even murdering members of it's own community that 'preached' unity and not division in this period. 'led' and egged on by members of their respective 'motherlands'. I do also think however we have to recognise that whilst some Cypriots in both communities were 'forced' to follow and act on 'division' by 'outsiders' many Cypriots were also willing and enthusiastic participants to such things. Many of those from each community that were on the side of such 'willing participation' went on to become 'leaders' for each community respectively, and some still are today, and that many still are today lauded as heroes and saviours by many Cypriots
