Negotiations?

Postby Sotos » Thu Jan 26, 2006 5:26 pm

This is a post I made in some other thread. I believe it deserves its own topic :P

Both communities have suffered and both share the blame. But today there is no reason to spread hate and show one side as monsters. Why should I be displaced from my home because some criminal in Greece sponsored coup in Cyprus and some other criminal in Turkey found the excuse to kick me (not him) out of my house? The war that started in 1974 should end now. And if we want to have something different than what we agreed in 1960 we can negotiate under conditions of peace, not war. Negotiating under conditions of war is like Germany that was negotiating surrender after they lost the war. This is what TCs want from us? To surrender because we lost the war? These are not fair negotiations and this is why they don't have a fair result e.g. Annan plan.

Do you think that negotiations while the occupation continues can have a fair result? Or we would just be negotiating our surrender as the losers of a war?

You have a clinical case of PARANOYA.

How can you blame your problem with the Annan Plan on us, BLAME IT ON ANNAN AND THE U.N, why are we always the ones you blame we didnt authorise it the U.N DID GET IT.

Don't you get it, for negotiations COMPRIMISE is needed and yes Turks are gonna ask for things and so are Greeks this is what NEGOTIATION means, did you know this? well now you do.

A balance is needed, if your talking for Cyprus you cant say my land or its mine or the Turks against the Greeks it has to be everyone is equal, yes that means Turks aswell, its up 2 u, if you can accept that we also have a mouth and demands aswell as you then why not negotiate.

Okay let's talk about a better solution.

And we can't blame TC’s for nothing for a start let’s become serious (antrapite lio, i entropi sta arxaia simenei sevasmos eseis den sevestai oute ton eafto sas).

Let start.

Federation or confederation?

The supporters of alternatives please open other topic here is not a psychiatric clinic.

agree

But today there is no reason to spread hate and show one side as monsters

wonder who is doing that

Why should I be displaced from my home because some criminal in Greece sponsored coup in Cyprus and some other criminal in Turkey found the excuse to kick me (not him) out of my house?

you are perfectly right. if only that were the wholy story

The war that started in 1974 should end now.

hmm. how?

This is what TCs want from us?

can you expect that first the outcome of the war is undone and then we negotiate? i totally agree with you, if you show me the way to achieve that.

besides.its works both ways sotos.
they have a military advantage and we have the embargo advantage (for how long we will still have it is another story). our "advantages" hurt unfortunately the people and not the leaders. for none is this fair.

These are not fair negotiations and this is why they don't have a fair result e.g. Annan plan.

can you give me an example of a negotiation that you consider fair soto?
just to know what we define as "fair"

Do you think that negotiations while the occupation continues can have a fair result? Or we would just be negotiating our surrender as the losers of a war?

tell me the way by which we can first end the occupation and then start negotiating , and you have my full support.

and if we believe that negotiation under occupation can only be "unfair" or a "surrender" can you please tell me the other choises we have?
two of these forum are...:
1. war !!!!!!!
2. wait till the balance of power changes (now to which side it will change, is a whole different story). in any case, a change in the balance of power can indeed bring a solution. lets see who is going to support us. i already know two unimportant countries that will not...

That is a good one.

Let suppose what a hurricane destroy USA and England.

Let suppose what their not exist.

What is the alternative and who is going to support it?

Is there an alternative from a federation or a confederation?

Or the hurricane must also destroy Turkey?

Let suppose what the hurricane did destroy Turkey.

What is the alternative?

The alternative is a winning war.

That is all this thing is about.

Who have the power?

No ideals and no peace could ever establish through this stupid ideas.

Piece can only establish when there is a middle solution.

Please tell me something about how you think the middle solution and where can be based?

While GC think the anan plan like a dog fart (like someone said) their is no way to found any solution and blame is all in our side.

And even if the fantasy hurricane change the power balance we are still going to have the logic people against us.

The circle is totaly turned against us and that is becouse of our total stupidity.

While some stupid people like Koulias Pittokopitis Sillouris ... still talking for the Anan plan like they talking about the demon Boambeth we are hopeless.

We are like a comedy of Aristophanes or a tragedy of Eshilos, we are for laughs and crying.

Imagine if when France is negotiating about changes in the agriculture policy of EU if they invaded other countries and told them they wouldn't move out until their demands are satisfied. This is what Turkey does to us. These negotiations are not "give and take" this are negotiations about surrendering. About how much the loser of the war should give to the winner. I don't think a fair solution can come out of such kind of negotiations.

In this negotiation Greece also is present.

And please don’t forget what paparxidas Makarios call them to come.

You are just unable to take you responsibility.

You are suffering from Turkofobia and you are not man enough to deal with the situation.

That is the issue I’m afraid, and in the end you going to take the arxidia of karampela.

Its not called Turkphobia, its called taste some of your own medicine. Now that your ready to negotiate to get into the EU, we have to lay down our rights and your still bargaining with our shit. Grow up all of you that are still trying to find a middle ground. There isnt any.The 32 years that we been fighting for our land and rights, and you turned every shoulder possible, now you blame our attitudes. Honestly grow the hell up. Especially Perastikos"the citizen of the world". Justify your obligation(customsunionprotocol) first without excuses and we'll see how much we believe you. If your going on the re-heated food theory, how can you expect us to negotiate?

and even inside the EU. do you think that you can equate france, germany and UK with any other member?

With this logic there is not any chance to win something.

This oppinion is a tragedy.

We are loosing and we keep loosing.

I think someone has to grow up and this is you.

Why the hell are you writing to this forum if you are not believe in any solution?

You just want to insult the TC’s?

Because only this you are doing.

You can see only your side and you are unable to negotiate like your president.

And off course you are not man enough to face the reality and this is a big problem.

If the foreign’s finally realize our attitude through your eyes we are finished.

Because this is the issue we was unable to live together and we still are.

End off story.

Sorry for the administrator but I have to write in Greece for last time.

Aftos pou thelei ta polla xanei kai ta liga.

I can't anymore be in here and talk with the wall.

Bye Bye and i wish you all to find what you truly want :)
