That is very good. I must confess that I haven’t paid too much attention on the stock the last few weeks.

I tipped RR as a 'steal' back on 8th Aug 22 when share price was around £83 per share. Less than 12 months later and price is around £190 per share. Just saying.

Yes you did, Erol, and the stock went down to £0.67 a month later. It is very difficult to grab a “falling knife”!

Sometimes it works out to grab the stock as it is falling and sometimes it is not. In this case, it would have been a good grab!

I did not just pick a falling stock at random and say , hey I think that is a steal right now, because it has fallen. I had been watching RR for years prior to my call. On sufficient scale my tipped entry point in to the stock was not trying to catch a falling knife. It was looking for the right entry point based on looking at the fundamentals of the business (not just luxury cars lol) and applying that to the current economic cycle. In was not a random 'buy the dip' tip and I got lucky. It was a specific - this dipped stock looks like it has more potential, over all terms than most of the other dipped stocks out there.

Nor is it like I have a history of tipping stocks and this is like one that went good vs others that did not. I am one for one. Never tipped a stock here before RR that I can ever remember.

At the time when you first brought up RR as a good investment proposal on here, I did state that I liked the company’s long term prospects but since it had a downwards spiral for a long time, I really thought it would go much lower than it did at £.67. I was ready to put some money down if it headed down to around £.30-£.40 range. It did not. Win some, lose some. It is always a gamble to try to time the market. I’m glad you got a winner with RR. The second part of having a winning stock, is when to sell it, or not!

Turkey’s central bank expects inflation to hit 58% by the end of 2023, its new governor Hafize Gaye Erkan said in her debut news conference Thursday, as she committed to “restore anchoring of expectations as well as predictability.”

Well, the correct expression is “catching a falling knife”, otherwise you are likely to be corrected by LR! :D
