How is it my fault though and what does it have to do with this?

It is Anatolia, the etymology of that word is from "the East", from Greek!

Turkia in medieval Latin, generally means the land of the Turks. In medieval English, it was Turkye and it is attested in works centuries before 1923.

The Turks were not even in Anatolia at the time. Anadolu is just a Turkish translation.

The Greek name, Tourkia (Τουρκία) was used by the Byzantine (in Anatolia) emperor and scholar Constantine VII in his book De Administrando Imperio, in the 10th Century. Referring to a Turkic state in the Caspian regions.

Where did the Turkye get that word from when there was no Turkiye before 1923?

you stupid boy. I don't think you are aware of what Ataturk did to the Turkish Language.

Lets see now, he wanted Turkey to move west culturally so

1. He banned the fez and forced people to wear hats. One of the top imams decided to take hi on and lost his court battle. Unfortunately the punishment for wearing the fez was death and he got hung.
2. He introduced all sorts of other liberalisation for the rights of women as well as all other people.
3. He removed the Arabic alphabet and introduced most of the Latin alphabet instead.
4. The area we call Turkiye today was called Anadolu and who gives a fuck where that came from. There are lands from Turkiye to China which have Turks living on it and have done so for thousands of years.

So pick up the brush and that toilet you cleaned last was below par get on with it boy.

interestingly the Truks only have one thing they refused to adopt from the west and that is Computer. They use a direct translation instead and they call it Bilgisayar.

Words like Detail, Imaj, Enflasyon , Pantolon. Bisiklry,Verand etc are all common words in the Turkish language today.

My favourate is a a Company and the TCs use Kumpanya compared to the Turks that use Karhane very much sounding like Kerhane.

I know the war in Ukraine is making all the headlines, but the inflation rate in Turkey has risen again to 54.4% (only if this was the true figures). Since the beginning of the war, oil and gas prices has risen dramatically, commodities Turkey depends on, which will only increase the cost of living for the Turks in the coming months as the Lira continues to devalue.

That's probably one of the main reasons why Turkey is trying to remain neutral.

Although in NATO, Turkey doesnt want to pick a side with them against Russia or the Ukrainians against Russia.

She wants to sell drones to Ukraine while everyone is donating arms and sell fruit and nuts to the Russians while everyone is sanctioning them.

She is trying to slow down her own the slide to oblivion.

After gotten burned in WWI, since then Turkey never picks sides until the outcome of the fighting is assured, then she picks the winning side shortly before which is not based on principles, but being able to enjoy some of the spoils after the fact. Being in bed with many actors gives her this privilege. We have a name for women if she were to do the same thing!

Regardless, Turkey will pay the economic price through loss of trade and tourism because of the war in Ukraine with Russia as well as imported high oil and gas prices as the Lira continues to devalue. With the constant rise of inflation in Turkey, many Turkish families are also suffering economically by not being able to provide for their families which is likely to get worse in the coming months.
