Yeah,

its alright though, I realized that you were not all there.

I guessed you were about 70 years old but you told me you wasnt,

Now I know you more or less are.

Keep the TL re Bordo, support Erdos war of economic independence.

Nothing will give me more pleasure than see Turkey remove herself from the clutches of USA so long as it is not too painful for the people economically. Unfrotunately like the mafia, once you are in, you can never leave alive.

We live in hope. This reminds me of a song the words by Nazim Hikmet written in the 50s before being exilied out of Turkey because there was 5 attempts to kill him. He had no choice but leave.

Insan vatanını satar mı
Suyunu içtiğin ekmeğini yediğin
Dünyada vatandan aziz şey var mı
Beyler, bu vatana nasıl kıydınız

Eli kolu zincirlere bağlanmış
Vatan çırıl çıplak yere serilmiş
Oturmuş göğsüne Teksas’lı çavuş
Beyler, bu vatana nasıl kıydınız

Günü gelir çark düzüne çevrilir
Günü gelir hesabınız görülür
Günü gelir sualiniz sorulur
Beyler, bu vatana nasıl kıydınız

...if "Turkey" gets Turkey out of American (read: "American") clutches; it does not mean that they aren't both "mafia": only that such mafia exists.

well said RW, this is what I mean.

I think Turkey has removed herself from the clutches of the USA, except for officially renouncing her membership in NATO.

So Bordo, are you saying that as long as the money is good, Turkey should stay with the mafia?

Im a little confused, because Turkey has a mafia style government if you didnt already realise it.

RW instead of answering the simple question which one is the mafia you created confusion in the baby's mind. The baby is now under the impression that Turkey is almost out of the Americas cltutches except the financial help she gets from them. Who the fuck helps anybody for nothing in return. Are you now reduced to the boy's level.

let somebody else have a go.

Statesments like this by the US State Department is not going to help Turkey get very much foreign investments to improve her economy.

Turkey source country for foreign terrorist fighters – U.S. State Department

Turkey is a source and transit country for foreign terrorist fighters seeking to join the Islamic State (ISIS) and other terrorist groups fighting in Syria and Iraq, the U.S. State Department said in its annual terrorism report issued on Thursday.

The U.S. Treasury, in a report in January, said that the Islamic State (ISIS) continued to rely on “logistical hubs” inside Turkey for its finances. Since then, United States authorities have issued sanctions to target Turkey-based individuals in foreign terrorist organisations more than half a dozen times.
