It is sad but unfortunately there is a good percentage of TC's that admire this dickbrain. How an idiot like him can lead a country of 80+ million is beyond me. Lets hope the next elections will be the end for this dictator.

It's OK my friend, I think he was trying to get our reactions because he was talking of some laws they were supposed to pass in December 2020. Now that I recall the meeting was not a few months ago it was about a year+ ago.
Anyway, the impact of Covid on you is actually the worst case I 've ever heard. The more I read about your condition the more sad I get. What can I say from now on, Iyi shanslar my friend.
May I ask if you were vaccinated or not when this happened?

Thank you for your kind words, Pyro. My case is right up there with the worst my friend. Doctors, nurses and physiotherapists got to know me well at UCLH and when I go for an appointment they refer to me as "the man with 9 lives". I earned this title after I was admitted to hospital with pneumonia. When I was 1st admitted 3 doctors examined in ICU and on my request to be very honest with me they didn't hold back and told me I might not make it home. I literally shit myself but to everybody's amazement I responded well to the treatment and was back home in 10 days.

At the time I contracted Covid I was days away from my vaccination. They were doing 70+ age group and 65+ was just days away. Of course I've since had all 3 jabs now and I'm being very careful. I'm not even allowed to open the door to receive deliveries. My son flew in from Baltimore to care for me and my wife as she has had an operation on her shoulder and is recovering. It's all happening in my happy home my friend

You said "days away from my vaccination". It couldn't be worse of bad luck A close friend of my wife caught Covid 12 days after her first dose and it hit her really hard. She ended up halfway to your condition... I guess she rolled 66s, compared to your "ikibir" LOL
I don't know if this may comfort you a bit , but you seem to have perfect clarity of mind. If anything this damn disease left something intact on you.
The brain is everything, it will do it's job sooner or later and fix everything, you will see.
Take care my friend, I want to hear good news from you early in 2022. 8)

:D :D I rolled a 2-1 and your lady friend rolled a double 6. Thats the way the cookie crumbles my friend. I have never said why me? It could've been anybody but it was me

Welcome back mr-ng,

This thread is about the Turkish economy.

Did you know you can buy a loaf of bread now for $0.18 and if you wait in line for about an hour at the Istanbul municipal ovens, you can get one for $0.09.

Bloody cheap innit?

That is Turkish economies of scale for you and erdogoon has cut the interest rate by another 1%, to 14% today, because things are so cheap.

Thank you for the welcome Max. I know you are very keen to bring this topic to our attention but do please give a thought for the poor people suffering through no fault of their own.

You are welcome and although I agree in part with your sentiments, it is also debatable.

We could debate it but best we don't politicise the suffering of innocent people.

I was talking about it being no fault of their own. In the majority, it is their fault.

They kept voting for this goon. In the majority, they rejoiced at the misfortune of their neighbours when they had economic hardship. in the majority, they support the theft of what belongs to their neighbors. in the majority they supported the rogue elements of their state and now in the majority, they are reaping what they sowed.

The vast majority of TC including those that the RoC considers Cypriot do not get any franchise in Turkey. No compassion for them ?

You will, have to explain yourself erolz.

There is an occupation going on and a lot of people in the RoC have their homes, lands, business occupied and generally have to put up with listening to threats from the pseudo regime and Turkey.

Now, they reap what THEY sow and you asking me to show compassion?
