Thanks to Chy-na, we might have up to 15% unemployment and our GDP could go down by 6%.

That is a catastrophe.

So yeh, questions need to be asked and the Chy-nese should get the hell out of here because jobs must go to Australians and as a country our relationship with this country must be now under review as well as the role of WHO. We don’t want them.

And put it this way, you will be back asking for an IMF bailout and yet you are so blinded as to who put you in that predicament.

Many more airlines to follow, for sure.

Golden opportunity for the airlines to rip up their workers contracts and renegotiate a lower wages.

Yep, 15000 people out of work.

Very sad day. But I have heard there are 10 buyers that have approached the administrators.

I'm not sure, but apparently the biggest bidder is a Chy-nese company. I have been very busy today but spoke to one of the pilots.

I don't know but I think the Government might have something to say about that. There are laws as to who is allowed to buy Australian airlines.

There is a lot of anti Chy-na sentiment here at the moment to the point where the Kidman Family (Nicole Kidman's Grand Dad) who is the biggest land owner in Australia (a Billionaire in his own right) sold Victoria River Downs Station to Chy-na for 300 million. Public are calling for Australia to buy the land back or forcefully repossess.

The sentiment about Chy-na is palpable.

But here is the kicker on how destructive the lock down really is. No one really knows what the unemployment rate in Australia is right now. I have heard figures of 15to 18%. Australia has never had unemployment this high since 1988.

GDP set top go back by about 6% if not 9% or more. Now if that is true, then imagine what is going to happen to some other countries.

Countries that will do well are those that have oil storage capacity and buy up billions of barrels of oil.

This is the price of oil. Cheap as water.

Well I’m not surprised… :) when your criminal government keeps working the public up, that’s what you get… mass hatred!

America always does that and Australia soon follows like a good little puppy always ready to appease its master.

Mass propaganda and brainwashing has become the norm in sanctimonious hypocrite states like the US, Britain, and Australia, and the daft public having no opinion of their own, always fall for it.

The Australian public are not silly or criminal.

Our Government's have been very Chy-na friendly. It's the public that isn't.

And now our Government is listening and has launched an inquiry into Chy-na's handling of Chy-na Virus. This is something every country should be doing. Particularly Cyprus which is going to go back to the stone age economically.

At least Australia would be able to trade its way out of crisis wants trade get's back to full swing. We have a lot of Coal, Iron Ore, Uranium, Diamonds, Opals, Gold, Oil, Gas, Copper and steel to sell. You have a lot of Kolokassi to sell. You would think Cyprus would be leading the way.

People had had a gut full of Chy-na and are now prepared to brace themselves to see Australia cut its ties and not put all its eggs in the one basket and they also want the Australian Government to restrict Chy-na from buying Australian land, businesses and so on.

I'm sorry but you are seeing a catastrophe before your own very eyes and yet you are still blind sighted over who caused it.

You are like the rape victim going back to your rapist!

If countries who owe money to China tries to screw China, China will screw them back big time by calling the debt they hold on those countries, especially the USA and no doubt Australia also. China is not a country without trump cards.
