Trump's days in the WH is numbered!

Postby Kikapu » Sun Apr 19, 2020 10:20 am

When Trump was brought up on the Articles of Impeachment few months ago, I knew that he would survive it and even go ahead and win the his re-election in November. He had a golden opportunity to build on that momentum by doing the right things concerning the coronavirus, instead, he did what Trump has always done, claiming he knows more than anyone else on any topic. The man is a control freak, which I believe will bring him defeat come November.

I know two weeks in politics is a long time, but the way Trump is going, he is on borrowed time. The only time he has left now, is to blame everyone else for coronavirus mess until the election day.

I’ve been at best indifferent to Trump. Like Brexit and the seemingly inexorable rise of right wing parties (AFD, etc) his arrival and success was a “message”.

There was always a chance the Democrat’s attempts at impeachment would be seen as nakedly partisan and backfire on them. Moreover, there was never one it would succeed. When has it ever? And particularly in an election year.

What opposition is there to Trump? Not anyone it seems of much substance.

The message now will be blaming it all on China of course - not to mention the WHO. More about the pros and cons of that on the related thread. :D

That's exactly right. Not a lot of opposition to Trump with substance. Just a lot of loud mouth, wealthy and establishment A listers all because Trump turned the tables on them.

Which is why Trump is always 2 steps ahead because the general public are aware of the hypocrisy, coming from the sections of society they are sick of.

With every attempt to impeach, and to undermine Trump, he gets stronger and more popular.

Americans just aren't buying anymore.

Even those who have a “monopoly” can screw things up for themselves, as hard as that may be to understand!

problem is, he hasn't screwed up anything. No matter what obstacles are put in front of him.

It takes a God made event freak of nature to slow him down but that's slowed the world down in any case.

The guy is just a bulldozer.
