He received proper training and he is 47 years old, sensible guy. I know that after losing his mother and his wife he has become very sensitive .

Well good for him.

he should be extremely careful though. Lots of things to consider which I am sure he is aware of. Such as removing his gloves properly before he touches a door handle on his car, only to come and touch the sdame handle later with no gloves, or puting his hands in his pockets. Lots of traps.

Kiks, all is not lost, have faith. First he needs testing for the corona virus and depending on the outcome, they can act accordingly.

I myself have been in hospital for the last 8 days with confirmed corona virus, I am home now recovering and isolated for another 14 days.

Different people respond differently to this. It is not just like the flu, we have all had the flu at some time or other, but never once thought we might die from this. This virus is f scary and just hope you don't get it.

The weakness is part and parcel of being ill, I am experiencing it at present, but I know I need time to fully recover and get my strength back. Fortunately for me I didn't need a ventilator, I was using oxygen for the first few days.

There is always going to be concerns when some gets that sick and at that age. Hang on in there, hopefully it'll all come well in the end.

Sorry to hear this Kikapu. I do hope he soon recovers. It seems to me that the UK hasn't as yet reached the peek of this virus.
Im also concerned about my son since he has volunteered to deliver essentials to hospitals.

Thanks Milti.

I am trying to give a positive outcome to all this to give comfort his family.

The truth is, it is not confirmed yet that he has the Coronavirus.

All the best for your brother!

Hopefully they will conclude whether it is the Corona virus or something else quite soon? Assuming uncertainty is not what you need now.

gee I'm glad all is well with you and you are on the road to recovery.

Can you describe what symptoms you had and how it made you feel? What was the scary part? Was it difficult to breathe?

Thanks B25,

Hope you will have full recovery. I think you will be there very soon.

I will relay your experience to his wife. She will be happy to hear your positive outcome. Thanks.

As for myself, I am at home isolated most of the time. Thanks for your advice my friend. Just get well soon.

Thanks CRG,

Actually, I wrote to another friend just few days ago that by the time this Coronavirus is over, many of us will know someone getting it and maybe even dying from it.

I didn’t think it may be this close to home though!

I know someone, who was a close friend of my family who got this and has died from it.

This all just makes you realize just how fragile life is.

Your lungs full up with fluid and other biological debris due to your immune systems response.

So your lung capacity and ability to breathe are drastically reduced. Due to the lack of oxygen your muscles get really tired so you feel weak and this may cause other organs to get complications or fail.

Imagine swimming against a strong current taking in about 5% of the oxygen you normal would be able to inhale. That is how you would probably feel, but while lying still.

This is how I understand it.

Each persons experience is different, in my case it all seemed to start when I had a small accident on my moped, I hurt my side. Since then, my insides were feeling nauseous constantly, I was home 2 weeks unable to eat, sleep and couldn't get over this nauseating feeling. I didn't have any of the symptoms they claim, temperature, sore throat, head ache, although looking back now I did have a cough, albeit not a dry cough, by bringing up phlegm (sorry).

I then couldn't cope any long, went to the hospital for another X-ray and to speak to a doctor. From there, the X-ray should something in my lungs, the doctor took a blood sample and I had it tested in the adjacent lab. It came back positive for the virus. But blood is on 97% proof, they then sent me to the hospital for the throat and nasal test (a horrible experience), and they decided to keep me in after a lot of waiting around. The result came back positive and I was a confirmed case. I had to use the oxygen to assist my breathing, my room mate didn't need it. He had other underlying health issues and fortunately he was ok and we had left together.

I went in on Friday, by Sunday evening I was asleep and when I woke they had brought in another patient. I turns out he was a very good friend of mine :) by pure change, in his case he did have the necessary symptoms before he was confirmed and they brought him into hospital.

That sums up my experience, I am now home getting over this, I am to be retested next week to see if I have cleared.
