It started off with the Asians (mainly Chinese). They buy everything as if its the end of the world.

THEN, the rest start panic buying because they don't want to run out of necessities like canned food, tuna, washing materials, sanitisers and toilet paper. When you would normally buy 1 you end up buying more to stock up.
