None of them have experienced the virus I am guessing, perhaps not haps members of their family die from it and give us advice that no country on the planet is listening to and that all the countries of the world are just plain stupid idiots. Really, I cannot get me head around how so many experts with so many opinions have not managed to persuade any country to open up yet.

We must all be sheeple (as you often call us).

Nobody, neither I and certainly none of the experts I have quoted above, is saying it is a hoax. Doubt is being cast on the narrative the media is creating around this pandemic and the slanted, sensationalist way it is being covered and the wisdom and appropriateness of all the measures that are being taken.

Precisely. Look at the power of big pharma and the Bill Gates Foundation, and the web that entangles these two together, and you will start to understand why. For example, why does the Bill Gates Foundation donate hundreds of millions of dollars to media outlets around the world?

Yeah, we better keep it simple.

I wish that the conspirationists could shut up when they wake up one day and find that this Corona crisis did not lead into a nasty new world order. But will they, of course there will be other things to rave about

Actually, I have never in my entire life wished so hard with all my heart to turn out to be proved wrong.

I follow you partly btw. I also hope/think that the CFR is far lower than the worst case scenarios. And there will always be political/pharmaceutical parties that jerk off to the fantasies of how they could benefit from this crisis.

Apart from that, I have chosen to believe there is distributed enough common sense to overcome this and go on with life as we know it. More or less.

Tim, I heard you… but you haven’t posted anything that would warrant a GLOBAL SUICIDE (because that’s what this pandemic is doing) so I have to dismiss your theories.

There’s not a single industry that can possibly benefit from this situation by enjoying any profit! You see, it's not only about making a profit but having the ability to enjoy such profit afterwards, and that's the crucial part your theories are missing!

In fact yesterday I read the story of a man who won 54 million pounds last week, just by filling out a coupon (not much labor involved there) yet can’t even enjoy a penny of it as there are no banks, no shops, no travel… nothing!

https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/b ... d-21909669

So even having millions of pounds GIFTED to you has suddenly become USELESS!

Also, I hope nobody missed the link I posted of the retired US-DOD microbiologist giving his account on the virus…

Just because somebody posts under the name "OldMicrobiologist" is not conclusive proof that they are a retired microbiologist.

Don't worry. I am quite sure Bill Gates et al. will be able to enjoy the profits they milk from this crisis, new normal or not.

If Bill Gates had a time machine he'd probably go back and delete all his work so that personal computers would never exist, and people like you would never have a voice… and I wouldn’t blame him!

Tim, there is a huge error in your fundamental thinking that the big Pharma is cashing in on the back of coronavirus patients.

In the general population, those who need medication the most are middle aged to the very elderly. This is the range of the population they cash in with their medication, which is the same group whom the coronavirus is most likely to kill. Makes no sense to me to kill off your best customers, does it?

As for why Bill Gates does what he does by spreading his foundation’s money, is because the guy has too much fucking money and he doesn’t need anymore!

Some people don’t seem to have grasped what a global standstill means!

For how long can such a billionaire be benefiting?

When there are no airports to accept his Learjet landing, no restaurants to cook that juicy steak, no beaches open on which to sunbathe, no parties to host or attend and no shops to buy stuff from?

It means “BIG PHARMA” becomes bankrupt pharma, because stockpiles of medicines in warehouses are no longer moving and their expiry date is nearing with every day passing and you have to throw more and more medicine in the garbage can.

In the extraordinary situation that has been created, money has simply lost its value!
