Interesting how people change over time.

Going back to the time when Cyprus was under the rule of the Britts Tuberculosis broke out in Cyprus. They set up a centre in my neck of the woods to bring the sick and once there, their relatives were not allowed within 100 yards of where they were and not even at the same time. Their relatives would bring them food and leave it 100 yards away and somebody would go and fetch.
