Well looks like things are going real well down here (to the buffoon's disgust).
217 new cases, a new low for us but I was quietly expecting it since border controls have become so tight.
On a much brighter note, it looks like the race to get a vaccine out is on with USA, Israel and Australia leading the charge.
Some countries are going to be fine, Australia, South Korea and Singapore being 3 of those doing very well at this point. Europe and US not so well.
Firms and governments are racing to find this vaccine because of the pot of gold at the end of it. Plus the Nobel Prize in Medicine.
A lot of media reports saying they already have it or are on the verge. They are messing around with a version of the malaria vaccine which they say is having a high success rate but just can't unleash it yet because it hasn't been tested enough.
I am predicting that something will be rolled out in the next 3 months.
But I have been a little worried for the poor 3rd world. I wonder how they are coping and what measures they are taking. That's the big elephant in the room. They might need a lot of aid and help to get over this and if we don't help them the Chinese Virus can never be fully controlled.
