You seem obsessed with Guido... But if you follow the link the quote is not from there...

Still less than a million deaths world-wide and dying out almost everywhere... The only reason the numbers are up is because of increased testing in most countries...

A virus sooooo deadly that you have to have a test to know you have it*!

* exceptions exist obvs. :roll:

Government scientist: ‘Lockdown was a monumental mistake’

A scientist advising the government on infectious diseases has said the lockdown was a ‘monumental mistake on a global scale’, in an explosive interview with the Daily Express.

According to Professor Mark Woolhouse, who sits on the Scientific Pandemic Influenza Group on Behaviours, lockdown was a ‘panic measure’ and he ‘never want[s] to see national lockdown again’.

PS. GR it is no wonder that you are such a Bedwetter if you rely on the BBC for your 'news'...

Nobody in their right mind should give a shit what “a scientist” or “a journalist” may say, but what the GLOBAL DATA is saying. Do you understand the difference Guido? :?

You know one of these days Grumpy, Covid-19 may teach you a harsh lesson so that you may no longer disrespect it.

You’ll be weeping like a toddler while mumbling… “Kill me… Kill me… Kill me… Kill me… Kill me… ” at the emergency ward, but the equipment you’ll be strapped to will be making too much noise for anyone to hear you!

Euthanasia won’t be an option… just incessant suffering for weeks until you drop dead.

So don’t let junk journalism lead you astray, ensure you follow the prevention rules and do not disrespect the virus… lest it comes and finds you!

What is important is not the opinion of individuals but what the Health authorities of the 250 odd nations on the planet, are relaying back to the global statisticians who prepare the tables and graphs thereby giving us the complete picture on a daily basis.

What some renowned John said, or what a famous Peter said... are nothing but opinions of individuals who cannot possibly be in a position to make sweeping declarations like... “Now that the virus has subsided…” and the like!

Be careful where you get your information from, people; don't listen to the false prophets.

I understand that Bedwetters like you pick and choose the data source that fits your current state of hysteria...

Why, at one point on this forum we were told that the only data that could be believed was total deaths... now 'cases' is the go to guy. Most people tested and found positive don't even know they have it (or have had it)...

If you want to rely on the GLOBAL DATA, lets do just that shall we...?

Total deaths from Covid = 819,212...

Total population = 7.8bn...

Therefore this deadly disease has killed what, 0.000105% of the population...?

Not exactly a deadly killer is it...?

Remember, Spanish Flu killed 20m to 50m in 1918 - the population then was about 1.8bn.... (1.1%)

You should really read some of the articles that us sceptics have posted instead of just posting your silly 'Guido' replies - you really might learn something....

I'd especially recommend Save Yourself: Stop Believing in Lockdown... You might even save yourself...

At one time the Spanish Flu had also killed just 0.000105% of the population… only it didn’t stay that way and went on to kill many more… and so can this virus!

Can you guarantee that this virus will never reach and/or surpass the Spanish Flu? Nope!

Do you have the answers to burning questions as to how this virus will evolve and react over time? Nope!

Can you safeguard the world’s population from having to ever find out? Nope!

Well then shut the fuck up and stop trying to be clever… because Covid-19 isn’t something from the past that we can talk about and then close the chapter!

It is something that surfaced only at the start of the new year and happening RIGHT NOW, and nobody knows what awaits us in the future with this virus.

Mate, people with Spanish Flu sometimes dropped dead in the street...

Most people with Covid need a test to know they have it...

You really should read some of the stuff the non-believers post here instead of relying on the BBC and making your idiotic 'Guido' remarks... :?
