Dude, I was up in the snowy Troodos with my 3 dogs.
There was a tour group of North Cypriots, maybe 20 people in all.
They went crazy when they saw the dogs.
A little girl attempted 3 times to approach the dogs and pet them.
Another women looked apprehensively at me for quite some time before making contact.
Another young lad starting talking to me in CY turk dialect, but I couldn't understand a word.
Then they they started asking questions about how old they were etc, then an old lady was watching the whole thing from a distance kept coming forward and backward
because she was infatuated with my female dog, and finally petted her.
Anyway, gawd damn, the dogs brought so much joy to those people.
I didn't think they expected doggos up in them hills.
North Cypriots, friendly as fu**, made my day.

Dunno where you're going with those sarcastic comments.
All I was trying to say was they garnered more affection than usual from complete strangers...... they just happened to be Cyps!
HENCE, my question about the north.
Are doggos popular in general.
