walking football

Are their any men over the age of 50 in the Famagusta area interested in starting a walking football team?
Its the fasted growing sport in the UK and europe and is designed to get men over the age of 50 off their backsides and outdoors getting some excerise as well as a social side.
Its a non contact sport and you can play to your own level of fitness, so no excuses, its already been featured on Sky Sports and is huge in the UK and across Europe.
I have been playing for three years now in the Uk at age 63 and its great fun if you like your football. We have several players aged over 70.
I am over in Cyprus Late May this year 2020, I have a place in Famagusta and vist Cyprus regularly throughout the year, and would be happy to help organise this with the help of some locals, I believe we will be able to access the football pitches behind the police station in ayia napa with a bit of persuasion.
Anyone interested please leave a contact e-mail and I will respond ASAP assuming we can get a minimum of 12 players.
Am also looking to bring a walking football team from Hertford over next year for two or three freindly matches if we can get enough interest in Cyprus.
Look forward to hearing from interested parties.
best wishes
Patrick
