There is some confusion here. My parents came to UK many times with the TRNC passport. There has never been any restrictions. They used to put a piece of paper in the passport and stamp that instead. On leaving they needed that paper to be presented at immigration.

In any case why they have granted passports to so many and yet this person is stuck on pending may be due to lack of offering a bribe. There is nothing better an immigration officer in RoC likes more than financial lubrication. It makes the ink flow.

I am afraid just going back to 20th of July 1974 and ignoring 15th of July 1974 as well as 22nd of December 1963 means they are brainwashed in to remembering only one half of history of Cyprus and totally ignore the other half. Only when they consider the whole history of Cyprus, will they begin to understand and then perhaps even begin the unification of Cyprus. Until then they are only strengthening the hand of those who do not want peace in Cyprus.

The narrative about motherlands is perpetuated and comes from your lot. Out of one side of your mouth, its, Cyprus isn't Greek (Turks were colonizers for 400 years). out of the other side of the mouth, its, Turkey is our motherland. Then out of the ass hole, its, we are a separate people deserving our own independent Turkish state on ethnically cleansed lands. Then out of the piss hole, its, we are entitled to shares in the "Greek cypriot administration of southern Cyprus".
