Enosis, what every Cypriot may say toasting each other in their gatherings as Cypriots in seeking the Cypriot way; that would piss "Them" off. We can have picnics on our beaches, and we can sit under the one flag that is 'ours', the Flag of Cyprus, which both of "Them" have treated as a rag. We can share in such kindness; it is not hard. Indeed "donkeys", let 'us' show them what asses "They" are.

And Taksim (by saying Asiktir together will make it clear), "Motherland"and "Fatherland" it's time to go.

Indeed, come Saturday morning Cyprus time at 11 am, I will be with my Cypriot friends sipping coffee at Buyuk Han Nicosia followed by a lunch at one of the restaurants nearby. I shall see at least to members there from this forum on Saturday. Unfortunately they no longer take part here but I am in touch with at least 5 members from here and have a lot more new friends through them from both sides. To hell with Turkey and Greece and all those who still believe they are Greeks or Turks. With a bit of luck maybe the new UN representative will be there too. Last time I met the Australian Ambassador at Buyuk Han. These people actually take the trouble to come to the Cypriot Coffee club to meet real Cypriots.

Nice post Lordo. Many years ago, around 2006 - 2010 we had a good few TCs posting on here, Viewpoint, Zan, Iceman, Halil, and TC to name a few. Its a shame the forum has withered and died since those heady days.

They really have got to the real truth as far as they can. Some very interesting questions though.

Why did the police not take Cemaliye to hospital?
Why was the ambulance not allowed in?
Cemaliye would have survived.

All sorts of other very interesting information about both TMT and the GC police and Militia too. They have really taken the task of enlightening those dark days to heart.
