This is not correct, it is nothing like that you radical plonkenswine.

Tur-kos is the masculine for someone originating from Turkiye. Turkous means many Turkiy and in the Greek language, there is no other word or words for referring to males from Turkiye.

You see how you pronounce Turkiye, similarly people from there are Turkiy or Turkous. They did ask to refer to the country as Turkiye and not Turkey so it is only right to refer to the people in the correct associated way and it is from the Greek language.

In English it translates to Turkey, Turk or Turkish but we shouldnt use that anymore, Its Turkiye, Turkous and Tourkiy.
