...just threw this in here; i can't remember who said what about Tesla months ago but i thought it is good grist for the mill.

The discussion about Tesla began at the top of page 67 in Milti’s marathon “Investments” thread and degenerated (as many do  ) not too long afterwards. You can find some classics in there, from people who’ve since departed. :(

Once again it proves that " expert's " investement advice should never be taken as " gospel". I have always believed in the reality that nobody can always predict a stock's performance accurately at all times. I have relied solely on my own research knowing that should I get 6 out of 10 I would be a winner. I watched Tesla going down to $176 . Right now Im only in one stock XRP which right now is way down from my " combined" purchase of around 0.37. I consider this as a long term investement and will hold on to it.
I was rathe4 lucky with Galapagos !! I first recommended this at 87€ it now trades at around 224€.

It was boomerang who gave the Tesla tip.

He's rolling in it now. Tesla is the future.

I must be living in the twilight zone at the moment as another one of my friends is about to be assisted by hospice very soon which was not expected at all.

On Monday I went to meet my 85 year old friend, Harry. I drove an hour to get there and waited for Harry to arrive so that we can have a Japanese food for lunch. Harry is normally punctual so when he was late in arriving , that was unusual. I called his house and got the answering machine and after waiting for an hour, I drove to his house, but no one was home. Since the garbage containers were on the side of the road along with other neighbours, I was relaxed to know that he is OK as he would have had to placed the garbage containers himself. Another hour waiting at his house and few more phone messages left on his answering machine, I went to meet another friend previously arranged 30 minutes drive away. At about 6 pm I get a phone call from one of Harry’s friend to inform me that Harry is not well and that he in at the hospital with a brain tumor and that he will die in a month or two. I couldn’t believe it.

I drove to the hospital right away to see Harry. He is a little confused and does not know why he is in the hospital and wants to go home. He claims there is nothing wrong with him, but then he think he is going to die in a month. I stated earlier that after I left San Francisco next Sunday that I may never see some of my friends again, but Harry was not meant to be one of them. Looks like I was very wrong.

Boomerang was right wasn't he?

I also said I believed this stock is going to skyrocket. Why? because their product is innovative and sexy, plus ticks all the environmental requirements in this day and age.

You always got to look at the end product and anyone can see Tesla's product will be going places.

Just to say that my good Turkish friend Orhan with the Pancreas cancer in California did pass away 2 weeks ago at the age of 62.

Early this morning, my friend Harry of 40 years also passed away in California from brain cancer at the age of 89.

I am glad I had the chance to see them again on my last trip to California in January this year.

On a possible good news, my 68 year old brother in London who has been on the ventilator machine for the last 8 days due to Coronavirus infection, we have been told today that he will be taken off the machine in the next 2-3 days and awoken if all goes well, then spend another 2-3 in the hospital to recover. Fingers crossed.

Wow. You're getting far more than your share of grief. :( Makes any troubles I think I have pale into insignificance. Good luck to your brother.
