As much as I like wine, lately I have been enjoying Gin & Tonic more.

Yes you will now: It is called Greenland because of a 1000 year old marketing strategy. Vikings/norse explorers named it so to attract more people to settle there. "The more the merrier / stronger"
I accept and thank you for your explanation, but after these suckers arrived and discovered it was only ice and snow there, did they ask for their money back? :D
Good to hear you're back in San Francisco enjoying your boat Kicks. Sorry to hear of your friends poor health. I have lost 2 dear uncles and 2 cousins in the last 8 years to this awful disease. My brother who is also my business partner is suffering from prostate cancer so it seems to be the norm in our family, awful, fucking awful.
Hi M, sorry to hear about your brother. As you know I too have prostate cancer, since August 2014. I decided not to have any treatment and Im still doing ok. I have never, even for a minute, allowed my condition to worry me. I have a positive attitude to it which by all accounts it helps.
Being in Cyprus and driving daily is far more .....dangerous to me( they are all fucking donkey riders ) than my condition. Mind you I m almost 74 so im not looking for tens more years just 23 more !!

As for my Turkish friend, I was asked to visit him tomorrow instead of today since he had visitation by the nurse and hospice and that he was feeling very tired. Tomorrow is another day and I am hopeful to see him. Then I will go and spend two nights in Napa Valley at ex girlfriend’s home, whom herself needs care by helpers almost 24 hours a day at home. When she has her good moments, she is great, which then I will take her to a nice restaurant Saturday evening. Parkinson’s disease is a terrible illness to have. I hope to visit one or two wineries while up there.
Sunday I will be back in the Bay Area to enjoy the Super Bowl game on the large screens and the crab feast at our little humble yacht club which has a full bar and a very large kitchen at our marina by the Bay. I will have few other friends who will be visiting me and enjoying the game and the crab feast together. Normally my Turkish friend and his wife would join me for different events at our yacht club, but not this time I am very sorry to say.

Hope you are well. Sounds like the circumstances to your trip to San Francisco are not very pleasant.
I hope you are well and the circumstances don't affect your psychology too much.
