Iranians have taken to the streets for a 10th consecutive night to protest against the death of Mahsa Amini in defiance of a warning from the judiciary.

Officially at least 41 people have died since the unrest began, mostly protesters but including members of the security forces, but sources say the real figure is higher.

...i saw the Shah's relation on TV, if that means something; in any case, news.

Nothing good will come out of Iran with the Shah or his relations. They are American stooges. Iranians should be left alone to sort their own problems out. Quite why Iran has sanctions is beyond belief. Israel has nuclear weapons but no sanctions. In fact they are fully backed by the Americans. World order stinks as does the UN.

It is time for change in the UN to make it more democratic and more accountable.

...it continues.

''The latest rallies held in nearly 20 cities nationwide were part of a new campaign calling for business strikes to be coupled with protests to intensify pressure on the government. High street business closures were reported in Tehran, Isfahan, Tabriz, Arak, Shiraz, Kermanshah, Kerman, Karaj and Mashhad, where state media said two Basij militia members had been killed.''

''The Mizan news agency, which is affiliated with the judiciary, said Moshen Shekari was hanged on December 8 after his appeal against his sentence was rejected by Iran's Supreme Court.''

''Iran has carried out its first execution of a protester from the unrest sparked by the death of Mahsa Amini, carrying out a death sentence handed to a man who was accused of "warfare" for allegedly injuring a security officer.''

...the protests continue.

If America, France Britain and Israel have Nuclear weapons, and especially North Korea has them, why should Iran not have them?
