So why is the € down against other currencies...? Brexit, speculation or the virus crisis...?

The Euro is NOT down vs Sterling. All currencies are down vs the USD. The only comparison is how much. The Euro is down less vs the dollar than sterling is, even though currently the virus outbreak is much worse in Italy than it is in the UK. There are reasons why Sterling is faring even worse then the Euro vs the USD.

You said the Euro has lost value vs other currencies but it has only lost value against the Dollar as have ALL currencies. What is more it's loss vs the dollar is less than Sterling has lost against the dollar. You can not answer the question why that is so. Instead you just make up false claims , like the Euro has lost value vs other currencies. So say what currencies it has lost value against OTHER than the dollar. Even if you can find such it still will not have lost as much as sterling has vs that currency.

There are reason why sterling is fairing worse than the Euro and no amount of dogma and BS from you here changes those reasons and that reality.

I only follow four currencies and the €uro has lost value against two of them recently...
