For injustices before and after the declaration of "independence" and the announcement of RoC. I honestly believe such extensive research and knowledge about this would've revealed such injustices. if there are none then I would question your source/sources of information.

One of the things I have learnt is that there is a lot of projection from "your side" of the debate.

Handful? There are 100s if not 1000s of TCs demonstrating demanding our ethnic cleansing, and that in just one demo in London! The second video shows the time when TCs were burning down our homes and shops, and at about the same time (June 1958) the TCs committed the first massacre in Cyprus since the end of Ottoman rule (and there were plenty more massacres against us during Turkish rule). Are all these not atrocities?

You only remember what suits you from a single decade to play the victim. You have committed tons of atrocities against us, both before, during, and after that one decade. And you continue to illegally occupy the north part of Cyprus using cheap excuses.

There are GC racists, just like there are TC racists. But I am no racist. I don't hate anybody just because of his race. I don't hate Kikapu, or any other Turkish Cypriot or Turk who recognizes the injustices against us and does not support them. I only hate those who support the violations of our rights in our island, and I hate them regardless what race they belong.

Sotos, I said I would end my participation on this thread but I felt compelled to make one last post.

Of course there would've been atrocities on both sides. 2 communities in a bitter conflict, what else can you expect. My biggest problem is the lack of progress in the negotiations. We are not going to resolve this issue by constantly going back in time. Do our politicians on both sides discuss the subject we discuss on this forum? Look at South Africa and their problems of the past? Their past history is far more disturbing than ours and yet they have reconciled. Why can't our negotiators make such progress and bring it to a stage where we could then form a Truth and Reconciliation Commission and bring this mess into a conclusion?

I know your answer will be TC's are making unreasonable demands. That's how negotiations go, keep negotiating, keep counter demanding, don't walk away from these negotiations but unfortunately your politicians keep doing just that. Similar to me walking away from this debate but the fate of the country is in their hands not mine and they have a responsibility.
