He doesn't need any more debates.

No unnecessary risk or surprises. He has it in the bag and all he needs to do is sit back and put the autopilot on.

Anyone in his position would do the same. he is much better off going to Labour Leave Constituencies and talk to the voters with his minders to shield him from stupid people and abour Plants who will ambush him like they did in that hospital when that lunatic was raving on about waiting times.
